Our Standard Brush Head contains 1,200 bristles in 34 tufts and our Small Brush Head contains 920 bristles in 22 tufts. Every Brush Head refill comes with a complimentary AAA battery.<h2 id="to-refresh-your-brush-head">To refresh your Brush Head:</h2>&#x2666;If you&#x2019;re using a quip Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush, you can skip these steps!1. Remove old Brush Head:&#xA0;Grip the head and handle in opposite hands, bristles facing away from you. Place your thumb on the dots, then gently pull the head off in a slight arc motion (don&#x2019;t snap it directly backwards).2. Remove motor and battery:&#xA0;Pull the motor out by lifting it by the wings or using the thumbnail notch. &#x2666;Once it&#x2019;s removed, tip the handle over and tap out the battery.&#x2666;3. Clean brush handle:&#xA0;Lightly wet a paper towel and use it to gently scrub away any dried toothpaste from the top white portion of the handle.4. Dry all parts:&#xA0;Any moisture left after cleaning can damage your motor and battery, so be sure to pat down all parts of your brush before the next steps!5. Replace motor and battery:&#x2666;Drop in a new AAA battery negative end first&#x2666;, then slide the motor back in (it will spring up slightly).6. Apply fresh Brush Head:&#xA0;Push on your new brush head until it&#x2019;s flush with the handle and you hear a dull click. Press the &#x201C;q&#x201D; to test, then you&#x2019;re set.
