Rechargeable Cordless Water Flosser TroubleshootingUpdated 2 months ago

We're sorry to hear you're having trouble with your quip Rechargeable Cordless Water Flosser. The below troubleshooting tips should resolve most issues:

Floss Tip Connection:

When replacing your Floss Tip, you should hear and feel a snap once it is connected in place. When properly connected, your Floss Tip should be able to turn 360 degrees

If your Floss Tip is not connecting or is unable to turn 360 degrees, please try the steps listed below:

  • Remove the Floss Tip and completely empty the water tank
  • Tilt Water Flosser upside down to dislodge any debris on the magnet
  • Inspect the magnet of both the Floss Tip and Water Flosser for debris
  • Wipe both magnets clean and ensure nothing is blocking the connection

Clog Detection:

The LED indicator will turn red when the Floss Tip is clogged and your Rechargeable Cordless Water Flosser will automatically shut down

Please note that the Rechargeable Cordless Water Flosser has a built-in sensor and will shut down if the Floss Tip is placed too close to your gums

If you suspect a clog but are unsure where, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:

  • Remove the Floss Tip and completely empty the water tank
  • While empty and with the Floss Tip removed, hold your Water Flosser over a sink and power it on. If there is no clog present, The Water Flosser will run without a red LED, meaning a new Floss Tip is all that's needed! Use a new Floss Tip to begin using your Water Flosser.

If your Water Flosser still gives you a red LED on startup without a Floss Tip connected, perform the following steps to reset your Water Flosser.

  • Fully charge your Water Flosser overnight.
  • With the unit off, change the power level to “Deep Clean” (blue LED).
  • Repeatedly press the power button until you no longer see a red LED on startup.
  • Replace the Floss Tip to begin using your Water Flosser.

2-Min Shutdown:

If you’re finding that your Water Flosser is turning off after 2 minutes of flossing, please note this is intentional as we do not recommend flossing for longer than the recommended time.

Not powering on:

  • Plug your Water Flosser in to charge for at least for 8+ hours, preferably overnight
  • If you do not see your Water Flosser’s LED pulsing orange to indicate the battery is charging, try using a different power adapter and/or wall outlet

Please note that if your Water Flosser’s battery is completely empty, allow it to charge for 5 minutes before expecting to see the pulsing orange charging LED indicator.

We do not advise using anything other than water with your Rechargeable Cordless Water Flosser as this may cause damage to the flosser’s internal systems and void any warranty coverage.
